Children's Ministry Intern
Mandy Mirau joined us in Children's Ministry and has added a high level
of energy, many creative ideas, and works on a relational ministry with
the kids. She leads the new Studio 8:5 program and is involved with
all the kids at different levels. We are so thankful for her involvement
here at RCC. She graduated from Crossroads College May of 2007.
Sunday School - 55 Kids
 We praise God
for the members of the body who are offering their time and talents teaching
our kids here at RCC. The dedicated hearts of these volunteers give
our Sunday School program a solid foundation and a wide range of experience.
Sports Camp News 2007

Between the two camps we had 90 kids involved in Sports Camp this past
Summer. Many of the kids accepted Christ and/or reaffirmed their
desire to walk with God. Praise God! |

Hall is set up with different areas to play in and moms and their kids
come for the morning to play.

Splash 'n Dash
 We had three days
during the summer where our preschoolers could come and enjoy
a story, sing together, do a craft, have a snack and then play in small
pools outside and slide down the water slide. They loved it!!
Studio 8:5
Ages 4 - 5th Grade
Zechariah 8:5
"The streets of the city shall be FULL of boys
and girls playing in the streets."
This program began in September 2007 and meets during the worship services.
This is a fun, interactive, biblically based program featuring stories,
games, music and skits. It is a chance for kids to learn about Jesus
in an environment that is geared to their ages! It is also a great
place for kids to bring their friends!
Nursery Notes
 Darla is our nursery
worker and we appreciate her faithfulness. We have new babies in
our nursery and the 2's & 3's provide an exciting morning on Sundays.
Thank you to all the volunteers who give of their time to make this important
ministry a priority. We are blessed to have so many!

I feel so blessed to be a part of this body of believers. Thank you
for the care and support that you have given me, and I pray 2008 is a growing
and deepening year for Children's Ministry.
