Choristers is a place to sing, learn music and music skills, and grow in service to our church, community and the Lord. The 45 minute rehearsal precedes a half hour of class time, both being important for the improvement of singing skills. The Stepping Stones curriculum used in our class time employs sight singing skills, music games, theory, and hymn studies.
In our service to the church, Choristers will participate in morning worship service(s) approximately every 5 - 6 weeks and participate in the Family Christmas Eve Service. In our service to the community, Choristers will participate in the citywide Choristers Guild Festival , as well as outreach presentations.
We also focus on growing in our relationship with our Lord, as we learn
the words to the music and spend time in prayer.
