We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as Savior and Lord.

We believe in the Holy Spirit who empowers and guides us by His gifts.

We accept the Bible, the Old and New Testaments, as the Word of God and the only perfect rule of faith, doctrine, and conduct. 

While we value the classic creeds of the Christian Church, we especially cherish our unity in Christ and the Bible as the authority for our life together.

Appreciating this classical Christian heritage and hungering for an ever more vital experience of new life in Christ, Covenanters affirm a number of evangelical emphases.  Among these are: 

• The need for a personal faith relationship with Jesus Christ
• The authority of the Bible to guide and instruct us
• The congregation as the gathering of fellow believers
• The real presence of God through the Holy Spirit
• The reality of grace-filled freedom in Christ's love
