The Rochester Covenant Church Youth Choir, directed by Jon Coker, came into existence in its current form in the fall of 1991.  The choir consists of about 45 students in seventh through twelfth grade.  The choir's repertoire includes all traditions of music: ancient, classical, spirituals, gospel and contemporary Christian.  Most music is done a cappella. The choir's full concert also includes scripture readings and drama.

The Rochester Covenant Church Youth Choir's program includes annual retreats and a tour, which give choir members opportunities to serve through music, both locally and regionally. The choir has performed in Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, and Winnipeg, Canada.  While on tour, the choir visits churches, schools, nursing homes, residential treatment facilities, and any public venue that will accept them.  Tour is an exciting opportunity for the members, as their goal is minister to the people for whom they sing.
