Vocal Choirs
Sanctuary Choir (gr. 6 - adults)
Rehearses: Wednesdays, 7:30-9:00 pm

This is the foundational choir of our music ministry. Sanctuary Choir sings for the 8:30am worship service September through May. Our anthem repertoire covers a broad spectrum from Baroque to Contemporary, hymn arrangements to spirituals. This year we will be joining Autumn Ridge Church Choir, performing "Elijah", with concerts on April 30, 2010 (7:30pm-9:00pm) and May 2, 2010 (6:00pm-8:00pm) at Autumn Ridge Church.
Rehearsals are a time not only to learn music but also to make new friends, have fun, and give expression to your own worship in a small group setting. No experience is necessary and you do not have to audition. This is a great place to enhance and improve your musical skills.
WAVE - Worship Arts/Vocal Enhancement (gr. 2-5)
Rehearses: Wednesdays, 5:15-5:45pm, Sept-May

The focus of Wednesday night rehearsals will be on learning a combination of music and other things (readings, prayers, etc.) for worship. We will do some things in combination with Genesis Bells, and will learn a wide variety of music, including world music, hymns, worship songs and anthems. This group will lead morning worship on the first Sunday of each month, alternating between the 8:30 and 11:00am services.
On December 5-6, we will host the New Song Kids Choir from Minneapolis, rehearsing and having fun together on Saturday afternoon, then combining with them to lead both morning services on December 6.
Handbell Choirs

Bells-a-Ringing (Advanced ringers)
Rehearses: Wednesdays, 6:00-7:15 pm, Sept. – May
Director:
Ringing 5 octaves of Schulmerich handbells and 3 octaves of Tonechimes, this group contributes to worship services about every 4-6 weeks. We use a variety of ringing techniques in a broad spectrum of musical styles. This is an advanced group of ringers, so anyone wishing to ring or substitute for this group needs to first meet with the director.
Jubellation (Intermediate ringers)
Rehearses: Wednesdays, 7:30-8:45 pm, Sept. – May

Ringing 3 - 4 octaves of Schulmerich handbells, this group plays in worship about every 6-8 weeks. Participants need to be well versed in the basics of ringing.
Genesis Bells (Novice ringers)
Rehearses: Wednesdays, 4:45-5:15pm, Sept. – May
Director: Scott Jorgenson
This is a group for the beginning and early intermediate ringer. New ringers are welcome, but please contact the director first. Genesis Bells teaches ringing basics and begins to work on a variety of techniques, laying a solid foundation. The group rings in worship as they feel prepared; usually about every 2 - 3 months.
Worship Teams
Hundredfold (adults)
Rehearses: Thursdays, 7:00-9:00 pm, year-round
Team Leader: Will Jacobsen
Our primary worship team provides worship leadership for the Informal Worship Service. Members of Hundredfold participate on a rotating schedule dependent on their own availability and the worship needs each week. Occasional Saturday practices are scheduled to learn new music and get to better know other members of the team. All participants must be able to read music, have excellent intonation, and be musically adaptable. Interested people should contact the Team Leader to set up an audition.
Open Door (gr. 7-12)
Rehearses: Wednesdays, 7:30-9:00pm, September-May

This is our student worship team. They lead monthly youth worship services (Holy Ground), the annual Sr. High Lock-In in November, as well as occasionally leading the Informal Worship service. If interested in participating, contact the director for more information.
