Visual Arts at Rochester Covenant Church
The arts have long been used within the Church to “tell the stories” from both the Old and New Testaments as well as to convey church doctrine. Within the Church, the visual arts are experiencing a renaissance, of sorts; being “created to help us ponder, to engage us, to evoke new depth of experience within our spirit.”
(Quotes from Spaces for Spirit: Adorning the Church by Nancy Chinn)
RCC incorporates a variety of visual art forms both in our worship services as well as within the spaces of our church building. Listed below you will find both current and upcoming visual arts. You are invited to view any of these pieces of art.
